This feature is included with all ZenVideo plans with Contributor+ roles
The Google Meet Autoarchive integration automatically imports recorded meetings to ZenVideo, organizes them in folders, and provides access to ZenVideo’s editing and collaboration tools. Feature availability
Google Meet integration is available on:
- ZenVideo Contributor+ roles
- Google Workspace Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, or Enterprise accounts
If you're on a free Google Meet plan, your recordings won't automatically upload. However, the integration setup will still be available.
Prerequisites
- You must be a Contributor or higher in your ZenVideo team to upload videos.
- Your Google Meet account must support cloud recording.
- You must be signed in to both Google and ZenVideo accounts.
Connect via the Import button
Follow these steps to connect Google Meet from the Import CTA on the homepage:
- Click the Import button on the ZenVideo home page.
- Under Import to ZenVideo, select Connect next to Google Meet.
- Sign in using your Google account.
- Grant access by clicking Allow on the permissions screen.
- Choose a default team and folder for where your Google Meet recordings will be uploaded. If you don’t have any existing folders, a folder named Google Meet Recordings will be created under the My Library tab. A new This can be changed later in your Upload defaults.
- You’ll see a success message: “You are now connected to Google Meet”.
Connect via Apps settings
You can also connect Google Meet through your ZenVideo account settings:
- Go to Settings > Connected Apps.
- Locate Google Meet and click Connect.
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Authorize access and click Allow.
- Choose your default folder for uploads.
- A confirmation message will appear once the integration is successful.
Manage imported recordings
Once connected:
- All cloud recordings from Google Meet will be saved to the selected folder.
- You can change your default folder under Videos > Upload defaults.
- After each meeting, ZenVideo will automatically upload your video and notify you via email.
- You can use ZenVideo’s editing tools and AI features to enhance recordings.
Disconnect the integration
To disconnect the integration:
1. Go to Settings > Connected Apps
2. Find Google Meet and click Disconnect.
You will receive an email confirming the disconnection. If the token expires, you will also receive an email with a CTA to reconnect.
