How to use the Microsoft Teams autoarchive integration with ZenVideo

This feature requires an Enterprise plan.

The Microsoft Teams Autoarchive Integration with ZenVideo is designed to streamline the saving and management of your Teams meeting recordings. With this integration, admins can install the app on behalf of all users, enabling an automated system where Teams meeting recordings are uploaded directly into a designated folder within your ZenVideo video library.

What does the integration offer?  

• Automated Uploads: Teams meeting recordings are automatically uploaded to ZenVideo.  
• Admin Management: Admins can control and manage which users can access the integration.  
• Folder Selection: Recordings are saved to a chosen folder in the ZenVideo library.  
• Notifications: Users are notified in Microsoft Teams when their video upload is complete.  
• Suggestions: After uploading, users receive suggestions for actions, such as sharing, editing, or organizing their video.  

Setting up and managing the integration  

Admin or Owner installation: 

Follow these steps to install the app as an Admin or Owner. The user will also need to be an admin on Microsoft Teams:

1. Go to the Settings page.
2. Scroll down to Connected apps
3. Scroll down to the Microsoft Teams app.  
4. Install the app for your team and allow access to your ZenVideo account.
5. Choose a team to onboard
6. Onboard yourself and allow access to your team’s accounts
   

Folder selection  

Follow these steps to select the folder you want to save your recordings in:

1. During setup, select the default folder in your ZenVideo library where all meeting recordings will be stored. 

2. You can update this folder later in the app settings.  

Permissions management  

Follow these steps to manage your permissions:

1.  Navigate to Settings in your ZenVideo admin portal.
2. Scroll down on Connected apps
3. Click on Manage beside Microsoft Teams
   
4. You will be able to disconnect yourself and your team and resend them the invite.
5. Your team will receive a notification on their Microsoft Teams app.

Once a Teams meeting ends, the recording is automatically uploaded to the designated folder in ZenVideo.  Users will receive a notification in Microsoft Teams when the upload is complete, and they can easily play back the video directly in Microsoft Teams.  

Notifications include suggestions for the next steps, such as sharing the video, editing it on ZenVideo, or organizing it into a playlist.
