How to use the Canva integration with my ZenVideo account

This feature is included with all ZenVideo plans.

You can import and export your ZenVideo videos to and from Canva, enabling you the ability to leverage ZenVideo as your primary platform for storage and delivery of video and Canva for video creation. This article discusses how to connect your ZenVideo account to Canva, import ZenVideo videos to Canva, and export videos from Canva to ZenVideo.

What to know before using the Canva integration

There are some limitations with the Canva integration to be aware of:

• Each export from Canva to ZenVideo will create a new file in ZenVideo. There is no support for a replace functionality at this time.
• Canva currently only supports video files up to 1GB in size.

How to install the ZenVideo app for Canva and connect my accounts

The first step for using ZenVideo and Canva is to install the ZenVideo app for Canva. To do so:

1. In your web browser, navigate to Canva.com and log in or create a new Canva account.
2. Start a new Video or Social Media project.
   • This integration works best with these project types in Canva, as these are the video output formats that Canva supports.
3. In the left side navigation bar within Canva, select Apps.
4. Search for the ZenVideo app and install it.
5. Once installed, the app will appear in your project side navigation bar.
6. Select the ZenVideo app, then select Connect.
   
7. Log in to your ZenVideo account.
8. Once you are logged in, Canva will be connected to your ZenVideo account, and you will see your ZenVideo content within the ZenVideo app.

How to import my ZenVideo videos to Canva

After connecting your ZenVideo account, you can import your ZenVideo videos into your Canva project. To do so:

1. Within the ZenVideo app in Canva, choose the ZenVideo team where your video content lives.
2. Browse or search for the desired folder.
3. When you’ve chosen the desired video, select Add to design to import the video into your Canva project.
   
4. Now you can edit your videos in Canva. Add graphics, stock videos, add scenes (pages), and more. See more tips for editing and designing in Canva’s Help Center.

How to export videos from Canva to ZenVideo

You can export your final Canva project or select specific scenes or pages to export as a video to ZenVideo. To do so:

1. Open the ZenVideo app in the left navigation bar within Canva.
2. Choose a folder to export to in ZenVideo.
   • The format defaults to MP4.
     
3. Once you select Export, you will see a video export success message.
4. You can now log in to your ZenVideo account in a separate browser window and check the folder you exported to and find your exported video.
   • You can also find the exported video in the Recents section of your ZenVideo home page.
