How to use the Kapwing integration with my ZenVideo account

Kapwing integration overview

Kapwing is a video creation tool that enables users to create and edit videos in the cloud and to leverage AI to enhance videos. Kapwing also provides users with tools to repurpose and reformat video content, as well as automatically generate highlight clips from video content.

This integration allows you to import and export videos between Kapwing and ZenVideo for advanced content editing and creation.

What to know before using the Kapwing integration

You will need a paid plan on Kapwing to use this integration.

How to connect my ZenVideo account to Kapwing

To connect your ZenVideo account to Kapwing:

1. Go to ZenVideo's Kapwing integration page.
2. Select Connect on Kapwing.
3. Log in to your Kapwing account and allow the connection.

Alternatively, you can connect Kapwing to ZenVideo when you go to export a video to ZenVideo, as described below, and are prompted to log in.

How to export videos from Kapwing to ZenVideo

To export a video from Kapwing to ZenVideo:

1. Upload or create a video in your Kapwing account.
2. Select Export Project when you are finished editing.
3. In the export panel, select Share.
   
4. Select ZenVideo. Log in to your ZenVideo account if prompted.
5. Choose the desired Team, Folder, Privacy Settings, and input any other key information you want to be displayed about your video.
6. Select Post to ZenVideo.
7. You will see a confirmation message that your video has been uploaded to your ZenVideo account. You will also be given the option to manage your video in ZenVideo, which will take you to the video settings page, or copy your video link to share with your audience.

How to import videos from ZenVideo into Kapwing

To import videos from your ZenVideo account into a Kapwing project:

1. In a Kapwing project, select Add Media.
2. Open the Import From dropdown menu, then choose ZenVideo.
3. Select the appropriate Team and/or Folder, search, or browse the available videos in the modal window to find the video(s) you want to edit. Once highlighted, choose Select to upload your content to your Kapwing project.
   
4. Your video will be added to the Media menu in your Kapwing project and can be edited using Kapwing's advanced editing tools.
