How to reuse settings for live events

This feature requires an Advanced or Premium plan, or an Enterprise plan with the Events feature added.

This article explains how to efficiently reuse established configurations for new live streams. You can streamline your live event creation process by leveraging settings from past events.

How to copy event settings to a new event

To reuse settings from a previous event: 

1. When creating a new event, select the Reuse Settings option.
2. Select the event to reuse the settings from.

Which settings can be copied over

The following settings can be copied over to create new events: 

• State of the Auto CC toggle
  • Auto CC Keywords
  • AutoCC Language
• State of the Chat toggle
• Content Rating settings
• State of the DVR toggle
• Embed Player settings
• InteractionToolsSettings (Status of Polls/Q&A)
• Event latency settings
• Parent Folder
• Thumbnail
• Preferred Streaming Method
• State of the RTMP Preview toggle
• Event Description
• Event Title

How to stream to the same destination

You may or may not wish to stream to the same simulcast destinations they streamed to, in case they are copying the settings from them.

Select the 'Reuse destinations' toggle to copy the streaming destination settings from the previous stream.
