How translations are priced
The total cost of your translation is calculated as: 20 credits per minute x Video length (minutes) x Number of languages selected
Example: A 2-minute video translated into three languages
20 credits per minute x 2 minutes x 3 languages
Total cost = 120 credits
Translating your video's audio and subtitles
You can translate your videos and subtitles into multiple languages.
To translate your video's subtitles:
- Select the AI Sparkles
from the lower-right corner of the video's page.
- You can also access it by selecting "Languages" from a video's page and selecting "Generate."
- Select Translate video.
- Select Audio/Subtitles.
- Select the languages that you would like to translate your video into.
- Confirm the cost of your translation. You can begin the translation process if you have enough credits left in your AI credit balance. If you do not, you will be prompted to purchase the required AI credits.
The time it takes for your video to translate is roughly proportional to its length. For example, if your video is 5 minutes long, it will take approximately 5 minutes to generate a translation.
You can edit the video's description from the Languages menu of the video's settings.
When to add translation to your video workflow
We recommend translating your video when you are confident that you will not need to make additional edits to its content.
If you edit your video's script after using AI translation, you must manually edit the transcript for each text track in the Languages menu of the video’s subtitles. They will not update automatically.
Additionally, if you edit your video using the following tools, you will need to re-translate it, as translations are not updated automatically.
- Editor
- Trimmer
- Text-based video editor
- If you replace your video
You will not receive a refund for additional translations required to reflect changes made to your video after the original translation process is completed.
