This solution entails ZenVideo entering into business associate agreements (BAAs) with covered entities and business associates on eligible plans. ZenVideo is dedicated to providing a world-class hosting solution that allows healthcare industry customers to embed videos, share medical advancements and updates, and better distribute content across teams using a compliant platform.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is a U.S. federal law that requires privacy and security safeguards for protected health information (PHI). If you’re a covered entity or business associate subject to HIPAA, ZenVideo can be configured for HIPAA-compliant video playback using our embeddable player. When a business associate or covered entity has executed a Business Associate Agreement with ZenVideo and is using ZenVideo Enterprise in accordance with our configuration requirements, ZenVideo is deemed a business associate. ZenVideo’s BAA describes the privacy and security standards we use to safeguard PHI.
