How do I use keyboard shortcuts in the video editor?

You can use the following shortcuts with your keyboard and mouse to edit your video and make actions in the Timeline. 

This article provides a list of keyboard and mouse shortcuts for editing and timeline navigation in the video editor.

Mute/Unmute	M	M	Only if an audio element or video-with-sound element is selected
Split	S	S	Only if the element is eligible for a split.
Zoom In	+ OR CMD (⌘) + Scroll Up	+ OR CTRL + Scroll Up
Zoom out	+  OR  CMD (⌘) + Scroll Down	+ OR CTRL + Scroll Down
Zoom to Fit	0	0
Scale Timeline Zoom	CMD (⌘) + Scroll OR Pinch or expand the trackpad	CTRL Scroll  OR  Pinch or expand the trackpad	Only when the cursor is hovering over the Timeline.  ⚠️Note: When zooming in with the trackpad/mouse, the zoom direction should be toward the cursor, not the playhead.
