How to find other people in a virtual venue

This feature requires an Enterprise account with the Events feature added.

While attending a virtual event in a ZenVideo venue, you can use the People menu to search attendee names, sort the attendee list, and filter the attendee list based on profile features in order to find other people in the venue with you. This is helpful if there is a specific person or group of people you are looking for or want to chat with during the event.

To find other people in a virtual venue:

1. In the upper right corner of the venue, select the People icon to open the People menu.
   
2. From here, you have a number of ways to find other people in that venue:
   • Use the search bar at the top of the panel to type in a name.
     
   • Change the sort order by clicking on First name and choosing a different display order. By default, it’s configured to Alphabetical by first name, but you can change it to Relevance (e.g. people who share the most common profile features with you, such as location) or Role (e.g. Owner, Speaker).
     
   • Select the filter icon to look for a group of people with common features, such as location or other profile fields. You can also toggle Include offline to choose whether you can see results for people who may have registered but are not actively in the venue. Offline people will appear faded.
     
3. When you find the person you are looking for, you can hover over their name and click on the chat bubble to send them a direct message within the venue. Click the options (•••) icon to view their venue profile.
