How is credit card information transmitted and stored?
ZenVideo OTT does not store or receive any payment card details directly.
Web purchases
All payment information is kept with our payment provider, Stripe, for purchases made via your ZenVideo OTT site’s checkout page. You can read more about security on Stripe here.
In-app purchases
If your ZenVideo OTT account includes branded apps with in-app purchases, all payment information is stored on the respective platform’s store where the transaction occurs (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku).
How is user information stored inside ZenVideo OTT?
All user data is encrypted and protected in our database which implements continuous protection, high availability, and on-disk encryption. Safety measures include paranoid system configurations, automatic security patch application, regular intrusion tests, and required SSL-encrypted connections.
How is video content stored in ZenVideo OTT?
All video content is stored on AWS Simple Storage (S3) and Google Cloud Storage. Data access is audited, monitored, and controlled via access control policies. All data access and management is done over an SSL-encrypted connection.
How are video streams secured?
Video streams are protected through a combination of security measures. Video can only be accessed through a SSL-encrypted URL with a self-expiring token/signature. This token is specific to the customer / video and is verified prior to and during video playback. Video access is further protected through rate limiting which monitors the viewer's location and device. If irregular video access is detected, access is automatically disabled.
Does ZenVideo OTT use DRM?
DRM options are only available as part of our Enterprise plans. We are working to add more DRM options soon as part of the enterprise plan.
