Viewer features available on the ZenVideo app for Android

Watch and Search

Your Feed and Staff Picks are available on the Watch tab of the app. Your "watch later" videos can be found in the app settings.

Users, channels, and videos that are public on vimeo.com as well as your videos, can be searched for and played using the app. If you have access to another user’s password-protected or unlisted video, it can be played in the app when opened from a link on the web or when the video is saved to your Watch Later queue.

Offline playlist

Spending time on the subway, on an airplane, or somewhere with limited internet access? You can save videos to an offline playlist and watch those videos when no internet connection is available. Any video that can be played back in the app can be saved to the offline playlist. 

To save a video to your offline playlist, tap the icon in the upper right corner while the video is playing, or select Save video offline from the [•••] menu.

 To access the offline videos, select the profile picture at the top right corner of the app and scroll down to ‘Library’, and select Offline videos.

Videos saved to the offline playlist can only be played within the ZenVideo app and cannot be exported or played in other apps.

Content viewing preferences

The ZenVideo app will respect your content viewing preferences while logged into your account. If you have set your preferences to hide certain content, those videos will be omitted from parts of the app, or displayed with a generic thumbnail; this includes videos on your own account. 

To update your content viewing preferences within the app, tap your profile picture at the top corner of the app, then tap Account settings > Viewing preferences.

If you use the app without logging into an account, only content rated “All Audiences” will appear. Unrated content and videos marked “Mature” will be omitted or will display a generic thumbnail.

360/VR video playback

Videos marked 360 can be played and explored using the app. Read more about watching 360 videos at 'Watch 360 videos.'

Live event playback and chat

Viewers can watch your live event on ZenVideo and participate in the chat.
