When crafting your privacy policy, consider the specific ways you use data, any additional methods you employ for data collection, whether your channel is designated as “Made for Kids,” and the relevant laws and regulations that apply to your business.

What is a Cookie Policy?

When users visit your OTT streaming service, small text files called “cookies” and other tracking technologies may be placed on their device. Cookies can serve various purposes, such as remembering preferences, providing in-product notifications, and measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Your cookie policy should clearly explain what types of cookies and other tracking technologies you use, what they do, and how users can manage or disable them if they prefer.

By default, ZenVideo sets a limited number of cookies on your OTT streaming service for essential and functional purposes. In addition, ZenVideo supports various third-party integrations that involve adding tracking technologies to your site for purposes such as advertising and analytics.

If you connect any third-party services that involve the placement of additional trackers, you must adjust your cookie policy to include information about the additional purposes and third parties who will be able to collect information about your users through those tracking technologies.

How do I create and edit my ZenVideo OTT site's terms and policies?

You can find the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy directly in your OTT site.

1. Log into your ZenVideo OTT site.
2. Navigate to Manage, then Site.
3. Select the Customer Agreements tab on the left-hand sidebar.
4. Add or edit the policies to reflect your business practices and legal obligations.
5. Save your changes.
