About Federated Search

This feature requires an Enterprise plan.

Federated search allows you to include ZenVideo videos in the search results for your enterprise intranet or knowledge-sharing and file-sharing tools, such as Microsoft SharePoint. Federated search allows users of these tools within your company to access content you host on ZenVideo without requiring a ZenVideo login.

To use federated search, you will need: 

• A ZenVideo Enterprise account.
• Videos in your library in team folders. 
• A third-party platform, such as an intranet, that supports external search connections. Federated search performs best on platforms that support OAuth 2.0 authentication for permissions-based searches. 
• A ZenVideo user ID for the team member who is requesting the search results from the API.
• An API app registered to the ZenVideo user requesting the search results from the API. Visit
